Hello! I'm Rachel Baker!
I am a mom of three children, a pediatric nurse, a social worker, a court-appointed child advocate, a nurse researcher, and now a State Representative. I have spent my career serving others. Over the years, I've developed a love of our community that led me to serve in the Ohio Statehouse!

Like many, I am tired of extremist policies, corruption, and divisive rhetoric. We need to elect leaders who are willing to stand up for what is right. That is why I ran for Ohio State Representative. I work daily to be a voice of reason, integrity, compassion, and true public service.
Since being elected, I have worked with colleagues on both sides of the aisle to accomplish many of the goals I campaigned on. In my first six months I passed a bill to modernize the adoption process in Ohio. I am also proud to have remained involved in our community, hosting community conversations on important issues, attending community council meetings, and delivering cookies to teachers in every public school in the district.

I am the state representative for Ohio House District 27 which includes parts of Loveland, Symmes Township, Indian Hill, Terrace Park, Anderson Township, Newtown, Mt Lookout, Hyde Park, East Walnut Hills, Avondale, and Evanston.

For the upcoming election, Ohio House District 27 includes the following areas due to redistricting: Indian Hill, Terrace Park, Anderson Township, Newtown, Amberley, Lincoln Heights, Lockland, Madeira, Reading, Silverton, Woodlawn, Wyoming, and parts of Columbia Township and Springfield Township.
